Job Summary

The cleaner/handyman is responsible for the cleanliness of the property common areas, offices and exterior elements. The personnel reports to maintenance supervisor or the property manager and works closely with the maintenance staff.

  • Must have a vehicle to get to site quickly or live close by with 15 min.
  • Must have excellent communication skills (English)
  • Weekend work will be required.
  • Location is 555 Brittany Drive
  • Part-time position to start but potential to grow into full-time work if performance is good and can work with our team.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Cleans all elements of the property, restrooms, laundry rooms, and property common areas on a defined schedule
  • Reports any maintenance problems to the supervisor
  • Performs job duties using safety guidelines and reports obstacles to doing so
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of safe use of cleaning agents and equipment used to perform job duties
  • Snow removal is a must and being able to push/lift heavy equipment

 

EDUCATION /EXPERIENCE:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience cleaning multifamily residential or commercial buildings preferred
