FRPO

The Federation of Rental-housing Providers of Ontario (FRPO) is the province's leading advocate for quality rental housing and represent a wide range of multi-residential housing providers who supply and manage a variety of households across Ontario. FRPO helps to promote a healthy and competitive rental housing industry by ensuring the impact of legislative and regulatory changes serve the best interests of landlords and tenants. Berkley is a proud member of FRPO and an active participant in the organization.

GTAA

The Greater Toronto Apartment Association (GTAA) represents the interests of greater Toronto's most active and concerned firms participating in the multifamily rental housing industry.  The organization was established as a municipal association to advocate for the private rental housing industry and to provide a source of vital information, representation and leadership in this sector.  Berkley continues to be an active member of The GTAA which we believe provides a needed voice for the industry with respect to early warning about new policies, regulations and research reports.

ACMO

The Association of Condominium Managers of Ontario (ACMO) was formed in 1977 to represent the collective aims of all condominium managers. ACMO's Mission is to enhance the condominium management profession in Ontario by advancing the quality performance of Condominium property managers and management companies.

Governments are moving away from the direct regulation of firms and relying on associations to promote service standards and engage in self-management. Programs such as ISO have recognized service industries as being capable of developing measurable processes which result in predictable levels of service quality. There is also recognition that quality customer service ensures long-term business success. These forces have converged to create the ACMO 2000 Quality of Service certification program.

CCI

The Canadian Condominium Institute (CCI) is the Voice of Condominium in Canada. It is a national, independent, non-profit organization dealing exclusively with condominium issues. Formed in 1982, CCI represents all participants in the condominium community. Interested groups are encouraged to work together toward one common goal -- creating a successful and viable condominium community.

CRB

The Certified Rental Building (CRB) Program was developed by the FRPO to provide rental housing consumers with a quality assurance alternative they can count on when selecting their rental apartment home.  The CRB Program is the only multi-residential apartment building "certification" program in North America, which assures tenants they are choosing a well-run, well-managed building each and every time they select their home in a Certified Rental Building. These standards assure prospective tenants that when they choose to live in a Certified Rental Building they are also selecting a Property Manager and staff that care about the quality of their building and the quality of service provided to tenants.  Berkley is proud to be one of these select Property Mangers and is commited to the certification process for a number of properties that it manages.
